Where did you create the reports from Business Analytics or Analysis work center?
If you create from Analysis then the report views are available only for your user id not the Business role. Adaptation is not the way to assign reports to Business roles.
Please refer to Business Analytics guide and go to Assign Report section.Let me know if you need further information.
