I am working on PI upgrade project and need your experts opinion here.
Basically current version of PI is 7.0 and plan is to upgrade it to either PI7.4 or 7.5. There are some scenarios which need tweaking before moving it single stack so plan is to have technical upgrade first and then migration. Now, the question comes should it be dual usage type PI 7.5 or dual stack 7.4.
I've been reading material on 7.5 but it's not clear to me how it exactly works. Is it single installation and splitting it to dual usage ? Would it still work exactly like dual stack? What's the benefit of dual usage if message has to still hop between ABAP and JAVA stack?
