I guess as per the reply by Michael Albrecht in this post Fiori on S/4 HANA - interpretting the Fiori Apps Library we should probably wait till the mentioned SAP Note is released. This would shed more light on the changes that SAP might have done with respect to the apps in the S/4HANA on-premise edition (which I guess should reflect appropriately in the Fiori App Reference library as well).
