Those queries are exactly the same, except for the date parameters. If the first one works, and gives you the expected outcome, then the second one should also work and give you the expected outcome.
Are the queries that you posted here, exactly as you run them ? I.e. did you copy-paste them, or did you fill in the date parameters as text for the purposes of this post?
