How can I release the customBO after retrieve()?

Hi experts,

     I extension a standard BO, in the root aftermodify event, I retrieve() a customBO, and assign the value, now(before standard BO save) I must release the customBO, otherwise when the other user in the same operation it will error.

     Before the standard BO save, How can I release the customBO after retrieve()?
