Re: Desktop Intelligence Client (DCP) crashes after upgrading to 4.1 SP5 FP5

I'm experiencing this issue:

2184728 - "SAP SE has stopped working" error message when trying to
navigate SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.1 Enterprise
folders in Desktop Intelligence

The environment is:

Server Side

SAP BI Platform Version: 4.1 SP6 Patch 03 (14.1.6.1805)

Client Side

SAP BO XI Client Tools Version: 3.1 SP6 FP2 (12.6.2.1782)

SAP BI Client Tools Version: 4.1 SP6  (14.1.6.1702)

Basically, as the note says, when I try to retrieve a deski report from the BI 4.1 server the Deski client crashes with the error "SAP SE has stopped working".

Now I'm trying to align my client tool version (SP6 no patch) to the server version (SP6 patch 03).

What else could it be ?
